Mapping the binding domains in Mo-MuLV Gag and human endophilin 2 using the yeast two-hybrid system. Yeast strain CTY 10-5d was transformed with different combinations of DNAs encoding the fusion proteins. Fragments of Mo-MuLV Gag were fused to the DNA-binding domain of pSH2LexA, whereas endophilin 2 was fused to the activation domain of pGADNOT. All constructs tested negative for self-activation. Quantitation of β-galactosidase levels was as described previously [71].
