The website sections
The site is organised into ten main sections, all accessed via the main menu bar.
The sections are: home, issues, research, minireviews, comment, research news, search, information, and my details

Home: This is divided up into three areas. In the middle section you will find quick links to the latest articles. On the right is a 'quick search' box (this can be found in many parts of the site) and links to our author instructions and electronic submission system.
Issues: In this section you will find the journal archive containing the complete tables of contents for every issue of the journal. Each table of contents is fully hyperlinked, allowing you swift access to the article you are looking for.
Research: In this section you will find all the research articles published in the journal, sorted by publication date.
Minireviews: In this section you can view the minireview articles published in the journal, sorted by publication date.
Comment: In this section you can view the comment articles published in the journal, sorted by publication date.
Research news : In this section you can view the research news items published in the journal, sorted by publication date.
Search: Our comprehensive search system lets you search Journal of Biology, BioMed Central, PubMed and PubMed Central, all from one location. You can choose to run a search in each area without having to re-enter your search terms. If you register with Journal of Biology, you will be able to store your searches and run them whenever you wish.
Information: In this section you will find details on the aims and scope of Journal of Biology, answers to questions we are often asked, hints on how to get the most out of this website and your web browser, background details on our Editorial Board, instructions for authors (and our electronic manuscript submission system) and how to get in touch with the Editorial Office.
